Phyllis Moses

Phyllis Moses’ journey into plant medicine began in her teenage years, opening her to a profound sense of beauty, wellness, and spiritual connection that shaped the course of her life. Over a decade of exploring psychedelics eventually led her to Hawai’i, where she began cultivating psilocybin mushrooms. She went on to spend 21 years immersed in a vibrant multicultural community, getting her certification with the International Association of Yoga Therapy (C-IAYT), and where she met her Tibetan Buddhist teachers and her connection to sacred plant medicine and indigenous wisdom deepened.

Phyllis’ studies with indigenous cultures, also through some American travels, and Tibetan Buddhism transformed her understanding of the mind, inspiring her to weave together Eastern and Western perspectives in the healing arts. After relocating to the Pacific Northwest, she devoted more than three decades to her work as a yoga therapist and hypnotherapist. She has served in a wide range of settings—including hospitals, addiction recovery centers, corporations, and international retreats—bringing a trauma-informed, integrative approach to each.

In addition to her therapeutic work, Phyllis teaches a sacred dance practice rooted in Tibetan Buddhist traditions, blending mystical experience with evidence-based science. Besides adhering to her own deep personal work, Phyllis' extensive continued education includes certifications in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Neural Meditation, and Children’s Yoga. She was in the first cohort to be licensed in Oregon, and as a licensed Psilocybin Facilitator, she combines her deep knowledge of neuroscience, somatics, and the expanded states of psychedelics to guide meaningful, transformative healing journeys.

Phyllis brings compassionate presence and deep listening to her client sessions, supporting intention-setting, integration, and sustainable growth. Her work fosters self-compassion, mindfulness, and inner transformation. A devoted parent and grandparent, Phyllis brings a spirit of joy and playfulness to all that she does. When she’s not with family, she can be found hiking, swimming, cycling, creating collage or guiding movement meditation classes.
