Introducing Odyssey's Financial Aid Program
Take the next step in your journey—apply for financial aid today
We acknowledge that legal psilocybin experiences remain inaccessible to many due to financial, systemic, and social barriers. As a result, individuals who could greatly benefit from a guided psychedelic experience are often unable to safely access one.
When supported by proper preparation and integration, psilocybin has the potential to foster significant personal growth and has been shown in research to alleviate the symptoms of various mental health conditions. We are dedicated to making this experience accessible to as many people as possible. If you believe a psilocybin journey could benefit you but face financial barriers to access, we encourage you to apply for financial aid.

Contribution Basis
Odyssey's Financial Aid Program operates on a contribution basis. You specify the amount you can comfortably contribute toward a psilocybin experience, and if selected, Odyssey’s Scholarship Fund will cover the remaining balance.
Consideration for Others
Please note that our financial aid resources are limited and in high demand. We ask that you approach this application with honesty and consideration for others who may also need support. Contributing as much as you can helps us extend assistance to more applicants.
Travel Expenses
Please consider your travel expenses when determining the amount you can contribute to your journey. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, recipients will be responsible for their travel costs to and from the airport or retreat location in Oregon. For private sessions, travel expenses include transportation and three nights of lodging near the session location.

Needs-Based
We are working to expand funding for financial assistance, but our current financial aid resources are limited and in high demand. If you are able to cover the lowest session cost of $2,750, we strongly encourage you to do so.
Preparedness
Financial aid is intended to support individuals for whom we believe this experience will be beneficial—those who are actively working on their mental health, have a clear understanding of what the experience can offer, are realistic about potential outcomes, and have a plan for integrating those outcomes into their lives.

Application
To apply for financial aid, please complete our application form, which will ask for details about your financial situation and motivations for wanting to participate. Please allow 20-25 minutes to complete this form.
Selection
Once submitted, please allow up to one month for us to review your application and provide you with a decision. Some applicants may be added to a waitlist to receive financial aid as funds become available. We assess applications based on both financial need and motivations for participating.
Verification
If your application is successful, we will need to verify your financial information and assess whether you're a suitable candidate for a psilocybin experience. To do this, we'll ask for your most recent Tax Summary and require you to fill out an Intake Form, which includes questions about your health and support network. Receiving financial aid and joining an Odyssey experience are contingent upon meeting the requirements of the intake and screening process.
